The PADI Wreck Diver specialty teaches you to explore different types of wrecks and practise specialised wreck diving skills, while following responsible wreck diving practices. You train with NexGen Divers in Hurghada, close to some of the best-known wrecks in the northern Red Sea.
Who it suits
Certified divers who want to dive wrecks with more skill and confidence. Nearby wrecks include the minesweeper El Mina outside Hurghada harbour (about 17-32 metres), the four main wrecks on Abu Nuhas reef (Carnatic, Giannis D, Chrisoula K and Kimon M) and the 115-metre Salem Express ferry near Safaga (about 12-30 metres).
What is included
- Equipment rental for all dives
Before you book, download and review the Diver Medical form to check whether you need a physician's approval to dive. This avoids disappointment on the day.
For a dedicated wreck day, see the Salem Express wreck trip to Safaga. Planning deeper wreck dives? Add the PADI Deep Diver specialty.
