The PADI Deep Diver specialty qualifies you to dive to 40 metres, the recreational limit. You train in the Red Sea off Hurghada with NexGen Divers.
Who it suits
Divers who want to visit deeper reefs and wrecks safely. You learn how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply, and identify and manage narcosis, as well as buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.

- Minimum age: 15
- PADI Adventure Diver or above

What you receive
A PADI Deep Diver certification to 40 metres.
Before you book, download and review the Diver Medical form to check whether you need a physician's approval to dive. This avoids disappointment on the day.
Combine it with the PADI Wreck Diver course or, for planned decompression diving, look at the PADI Tec 40 course.
