Dedicated Mentorship:
A structured mentorship model prioritizes skill mastery, procedural understanding, and real-world application over expedient card issuance.
Uncompromising Instructional Excellence:
Training quality is determined by instructor credentials, teaching methodologies, and operational rigor—never by agency affiliation alone.
Configuration-Specific Expertise:
Select instructors whose active diving experience and teaching practice directly align with your chosen equipment configuration, whether open-circuit, closed-circuit, sidemount, or back-mount.
Strategic Investment in Quality:
Superior instruction demands commitment of time, effort, and resources. A premium training experience mitigates future risks and costs far more effectively than budget-driven alternatives.

I. Sidemount Courses
Sidemount Foundations – 3 Day Course
A seamless integration of agency-mandated standards with years of sidemount innovation and field testing.
At NexGen Divers, we go the extra mile by transforming standard rig familiarization into a true mastery of sidemount concepts. Beyond agency checklists, you’ll uncover the “why” behind every component and configuration—understanding how each adjustment impacts buoyancy, trim, gas management, and overall safety. This elevated approach ensures you leave not just following instructions, but confidently diagnosing and optimizing your own setup in any diving scenario.
Tec Sidemount – 3 Day Course
At NexGen Divers, we elevate your technical sidemount preparation by adding a structured, step-by-step progression in a controlled no-decompression environment. You’ll begin by perfecting dual-tank handling, then advance to rigging and managing a third deco cylinder—and ultimately a fourth. This deliberate staging removes the pressure of deep-water task-loading, allowing you to truly grasp how each additional cylinder and configuration choice affects decompression theory. The result is a hands-on skill set underpinned by conceptual mastery, so you emerge capable of independently planning and executing full technical sidemount dives.
II. Open-Circuit Technical Diving
Tec 40 (Limited Decompression) – 3 Day Course
At NexGen Divers, we elevate your first foray into decompression diving with an immersive blend of theory and practice. You’ll work with a single deco cylinder (up to 50% O₂) but go far beyond procedural drills—delving into current decompression research, scrutinizing algorithmic choices, and learning to manipulate dive variables on the fly. This deep-dive approach arms you with the analytical frameworks and decision-making tools needed to tailor any dive profile and proactively minimize DCS risk.
Tec 45 (Single Gase Full Decompression) – 3 Day Course
We don’t just teach full-deco stops; we immerse you in advanced gas-selection strategy and oxygen-exposure management. Building on your Tec 40 foundation, you’ll plan and execute unrestricted decompression profiles with mixes up to 100% O₂—while unpacking the physiological implications of each choice. Our extra-mile workshops include real-world scenario simulations and critical-incident case studies, ensuring you graduate confident in both the art and science of open-circuit decompression.
Tec 50 (Two Gas Full Decompression) – 4 Day Course
When it’s time to extend your range to 50 m, NexGen Divers brings you a dual-gas accelerated-deco regimen that’s as rigorous intellectually as it is technically. From precision mission planning through in-water execution, we layer on emergency-response drills, risk-analysis briefings, and hands-on gas-switch simulations. By integrating high-fidelity scenarios with expert debriefs, we guarantee you leave fully prepared to navigate complex profiles, manage equipment variables, and make real-time safety decisions under pressure.
III. Closed-Circuit Technical Diving (CCR)
Discover Rebreather Program
Experience Bubble-Free Diving
Rebreathers represent the forefront of modern dive technology, offering silent operation, efficient gas use, and a completely different underwater experience compared to open-circuit scuba.
The Discover Rebreather Experience at NexGen Divers provides a controlled, instructor-led introduction to rebreather diving using the Dive Rite O₂ptima CM, a Type T (Technical) rebreather that shares many of the intuitive and user-friendly characteristics of Type R recreational rebreathers. This allows participants to experience rebreather diving on a platform that can later support progression all the way through Tec 100 CCR.
Designed as a hands-on trial rather than a certification course, this experience allows divers to explore bubble-free diving, unique buoyancy characteristics, and the overall feel of rebreather operation before committing to formal CCR training.
Program Highlights
- Introduction to rebreather concepts and system awareness
- Hands-on equipment orientation and basic loop familiarization
- Dry-deck preparation and instructor-guided setup
- A supervised rebreather dive in controlled conditions
- Post-dive debrief covering performance and progression options
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum of 15 logged dives
A structured introduction designed to let you experience rebreather diving and confidently decide on your next step into CCR training.
Rebreather Diver
Your Entry into Rebreather Diving
Rebreathers are no longer limited to technical diving. Modern rebreather technology offers longer no-stop limits, reduced gas consumption, and silent, bubble-free diving—transforming the way divers experience the underwater world.
At NexGen Divers, the Rebreather Diver course introduces you to rebreather diving using the Dive Rite O₂ptima CM, a Type T (Technical) rebreather that shares many of the user-friendly characteristics of Type R recreational rebreathers, including intuitive electronics and streamlined operation. This allows recreational divers to safely begin their rebreather journey on a platform that can later be utilized all the way through Tec 100 CCR, without the need to change units as training progresses.
The course qualifies divers to use a rebreather to a maximum depth of 18 meters / 60 feet, providing a solid foundation in rebreather fundamentals and preparing them for future CCR advancement.
Course Highlights
- Introduction to rebreather principles and oxygen management
- Hands-on equipment setup and familiarization
- Buoyancy control and loop awareness specific to rebreather diving
- Supervised training dives focused on comfort, control, and safety
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- PADI Enriched Air Diver
- Minimum of 25 logged dives
- Minimum age: 18 years
A structured and future-proof introduction to rebreather diving, designed to build confidence today and support progression into advanced CCR training tomorrow.
