The PADI Scuba Diver course is a PADI licensed course that leads to an international certification recognised around the world. It is a shorter first step than Open Water, run by NexGen Divers in Hurghada.
Who it suits
Beginners with limited time who want a certification and are happy to always dive with a dive professional. PADI Scuba Divers may dive to 12 metres, always under the direct supervision of a PADI professional. This is the main difference from Open Water Diver. Ages 10-14 earn the Junior Scuba Diver card.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Able to swim
- Medically fit for diving
How the course works
The course is done in two stages, theory and practical:
- Theory: e-learning lectures and exams online. Time commitment: 5-10 hours.
- Practical: 3 confined water dives and 2 open water dives during 1 day of practical training at our dive centre.
What you receive
An international PADI Scuba Diver certification that lets you dive all over the world to a maximum depth of 12 metres.
Before you book, download and review the Diver Medical form to check whether you need a physician's approval to dive. This avoids disappointment on the day.
